Manufacturing is vital to Ontario’s economy, supporting over 830,000 jobs, including 354,000 in the Toronto region. But the current trade war is straining the sector, delaying investment and hiring, and challenging Ontario’s goal to grow the manufacturing workforce to 1 million by 2035.
